WebAug 2, 2024 · My Combo. My combo consists of: central coast 342 stroker, X-303, gt-40 intake, afr 185's, Novi 1000. #'s are 428 HP & 450 TQ. I got these #'s at ~ 5200 rpm on the dyno, then it started to go lean and misfire. I think if I got the combo running correctly with an upgraded fuel system I could probably see 450+ HP & 475+ TQ. You can buy vacuum cannisters that hold extra vacuum for people with lopey cams and vacuum assited brakes. WebJan 22, 2024 · Depending on the engine and compression, total timing with vacuum can be as high as 60. Total mechanical advance without vacuum can run up into the 40's. Trying to get every ounce of power out of the engine or every MPG is not a recommended exercise because there are sacrifices. WebJun 25, 2012 · Ford 'E 303' roller cams have the 351W/HO firing order. There is no doubt about that. There could be doubt about push rod length though if the engine was originally a flat tappet.
